It’s been a pretty event filled month and a half for us over here.
We started out with an amazing sale, we usually have between 500 and 600 sales every day, that went up to an average of 2,300 sales for the course of the sale. We spent a week and a half, with no one getting any sleep, my Dad (Ammon) and the crew working around the clock to get the orders picked and boxed and finally shipped. That was actually fun. Though I think my Dad would say something different.
In the middle of all the sale excitement, Bill was flying from his Sedona house to the Kingman warehouse when midway, he had a heart attack. Luckily, his plane basically flew itself the 50 minute flight and he was able to land the plane when he got to Kingman. It was a minor heart attack (Didn’t know there were minor heart attacks). He is going to be fine. But he has decided to reorganize things a bit.
He has bumped Sarah to CEO of Allied Airframe (His main company), she has been being trained to take over and they both were thinking this is a good time to do it. Valerie is going along with her as CTO. Everyone is pretty jazzed. Sarah thought it would be a good time for me to take over Squishworx, as I have done all the back end stuff.
I am planning to consolidate the inventory a bit and add quite a bit for different printers. Though I admit, my favorite machines so far are the MK4 and the XL. I gotta say, I am not looking forward to changing out the belts on the XL when the time comes. We have socks, thermistors and heater cartridges coming in for both the XL and the MK4.
Thanks for sticking with us folks, we are pretty excited about whats coming.
