The MK3S-Stiff-Y delivers all this and more.
Starting with the custom designed Y-Axis Stepper Motor Mount, built in stepper motor endstop that works in conjunction with the custom designed Y-Axis Belt holder to stop your linear bearings from slamming against the backplate of the frame, those poor bearings see enough abuse, and we are going for precision, aren’t we?
From back of the machine to the front, our custom designed adjustable, oversized Y-Axis idler. Designed for our beautiful, stiff 10mm belt. Easily adjustable without flipping your machine over, allows to retension your belt on the fly, even while printing! Simplicity at it’s best.
All these parts work in conjunction to bring you the stiffest bearing ride possible on our Prusa rigs. All parts use existing mount points making for a quick and trouble free install. All hex nuts and square nuts are premounted, a small dab of adhesive locking them into place so you don’t have to do anything but bolt them up to the frame. (All parts are fully assembled!)

1 Y-Axis Ultra Stepper Motor Mount, with built in stop. (all required hardware to mount included).
1 Y-Axis Belt holder, improved for Gates belts. (reuse existing mount hardware, hardware for belt retension included).
1 Adjustable tension, oversized, Y-Axis belt mount (All required hardware to mount included, reuse two existing bolts).
1 sized 2GT Y-Axis 10mm belt.
1 GT2 Stepper Motor Belt Pulley 10mm (With mounting grub screws).
All printed parts use Prusament Jet Black or Atomic Filament Extreme Black PETG filaments.
We want these parts to last and to maintain their laser like accuracy so all are printed with 4 walls, and solid infill. You will be able to pass these beauties down to your kids in your will.
